About the Department
Since 1910, Mount Sinai’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery has been dedicated to understanding health conditions spanning the field of orthopedics. Since then, our department has become a pioneer in shaping the future of orthopedic medicine. In the most recent edition of U.S. News & World Report®, The Mount Sinai Hospital ranked No. 11 nationally for Orthopedics for 2023-2024, and Newsweek ranked The Mount Sinai Hospital among the top 25 orthopedic programs in the world.
